SynapSense that provides solutions for data centers and large corporations to improve energy efficiency of their infrastructure, has raised $ 16 million in series c financing.
Round led by Crosslink Capital, with Sequoia Capital, Aries capital, Emerald Technology Ventures, GE Energy financial services, higher power and Robert Bosch VC.
SynapSense offers wireless instrumentation solutions that offer energy efficiency and reducing carbon footprint for the Datacenter managed companies in technology, finance, health and defense industries, among others.
Additional capital will be used to increase the international operations and to enhance its data center optimization platform, which consists of a set of hardware and software.
SynapSense was founded in March 2006, former Intel exec Peter van Deventer and Dr. Raju Pandey, associate professor in the Department of computer science at the University of California, Davis.
